When I was a youngster my dad used to take us over to Hackney Marshes, me and my brothers.
Ever since really, we’ve cycled down to the marshes, along the canals, at one point we even planted trees. We played football a lot as well. I know there’s a lot of housing stuff going on that’s not exactly the right sort of housing. They dug up part of the football fields, I think that’s for Thames Water or something.
