Becca is a jewellery designer and goldsmith working from an independent studio in Penryn, Cornwall. She specialises in bespoke commissions, engagement rings and make your own wedding ring workshops.
I worked with Becca to portray both the artist behind the work and the processes of crafting jewellery that will last a lifetime. During my artist portraiture sessions I spend time with each client (usually over a cup of coffee) discussing their needs and viewing their creative spaces. This allows me to create more intimate and personal images that give their customers a connection to the artist’s practice and the pieces they’re purchasing.
Future Collaborations
This work actually went beyond a single commission. After this inital studio session I began working closely with Becca to photograph further pieces and the work that goes into crafting them.
