Hi, I’m George.
A freelance photographer and filmmaker based in West Cornwall, I help charities, small businesses and community groups grow and thrive.

With a background in multi-platform communications I freelance to a wide variety of clients, guiding their creative vision with professionalism and care.

Photographer

I hold a first class honours degree in Marine and Natural History Photography from Falmouth University and have over four years experience of professional photography.
I’m experienced with Canon, Panasonic, Sony and Fuji DSLR and mirrorless cameras and I’m able to adapt to a variety of environments.

Editor

As a self-taught editor I’m experienced in the use of Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. I edit both long-form promotional and narrative films and informative documentaries, as well as short-form content for use on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

Videographer

As a self-shooting videographer I direct, produce, film and edit engaging and inspiring stories. I’m vell-versed in the use of a wide range of camera and audio systems.
I’m a CAA licenced and insured drone operator using DJI UAV systems to gain unique perspectives.

Collaborator

I’m often brought onto existing teams as a second camera operator or camera assistant. If required for larger projects, I can coordinate specialist crews including camera assistants, gaffers, sound recordists and location marshalls.

Podcaster

As well as my visual work, I also host a podcast, Coffee with Conservationists, which has reached a wide audience and received a glowing review published in BBC Wildlife Magazine (in print and online).

I work out of Truro, Cornwall and I’m available for work across the UK. To talk more about your project and discuss my availability and rate please get in touch.
